Didim (Didyma) Temple of Apollo
It’s located in Didim District. It was established in the 8th century as a divination and cult centre subsidiary to Miletus. It was the most important hub of sorcery and divination in Anatolia. A temple dedicated to Apollo is located in the city. The architect of the temple was Daphnis of Miletus.
There is also a 17km. long Sacred Way that connects Temple of Apollo to Miletus. On this road there were sculptures of sphinxes, lions and priests in meditation.
