Doğanbey Neighborhood, located 29 km. away from Söke District and inside the borders of the Dilek Peninsula National Park, is a classic Greek settlement established on the extensions of Thebai Ancient City. Once named “Domatia”, the village’s name transformed into Domatça and finally Doğanbey. Old Doğanbey with its cobblestone streets and classic Greek architecture and the nearby Karina Bay are both places worth visiting. Inside the village there is an Ottoman Garment Museum with clothes and trinkets from different regions of the 19th and 20th century on display and a Natural Life Museum with animal embalmings on exhibit inside the borders of the Dilek Peninsula National Park.
