Route Details

Dandalas Waterfall, located about 3 km east of Karacasu District, is a view worth seeing. By traveling along the banks of Dandalas Creek among various plant and tree species you can reach Güzelbeyli village. 4,5 km to the east of the village is Aphrodisias Ancient City. Aphrodisias Ancient City is an ancient city which entered UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2017, and it is one of the most beautiful and important ancient cities in the World. In Aphrodisias Ancient City, you can visit the Temple of Aphrodite dedicated to the goddess of love and beauty, the temple’s monumental gateway Tetrapylon and the ancient era’s best preserved structure the stadium as well as various other ruins. You can end your trip in the ancient city by visiting Aphrodisias Museum, where artifacts unearthed during the excavations in the city are exhibited.
