Route Details

After walking 2 km from Virgin Mary Canyon, located 3,5 km away from Davutlar District, you’ll reach the Kurşunlu Monastery in a forested area where you can visit the chapel and the infirmary inside the monastery. After your visit to the monastery, if you hike South through the mountain road, you’ll come to Gelebeç. If you follow the cobblestone road what will welcome you is the old Greek houses and the church that is dedicated to St. Nicholas. It’s possible to rest and dine in the village which attracts attention with its fresh air and unique scenery. You can also visit Priene Ancient City which was once a port city.
