Route Details

After about an hour of hiking from Koçarlı District’s Bağarcık village, you’ll reach Bağarcık holy area. Here, you can visit the temple dedicated to Zeus, and through ancient roads you can go to the castle that survived since the Hellenistic Period. Throughout your journey you can observe Latmos’ 550 million year old rock formations. In Latmos, rich in flora and fauna, you can enjoy the nature and the scenery. You can also visit Çörlerasar Castle which was built on bedrock, 2 km away from Bağarcık Village.
