Route Details

Madran Village is 4 km away from Bozdoğan. As you go up the plateau after you leave the village, you can watch unique scenery, and see various plant and tree species. After about a 7 km hike, you’ll reach Madran Mountain’s summit and Madran Plateau. On the summit, you can visit Madran Baba Tomb, and the mountain houses. In this region, where hair goats are bred, you can see hair goats, and the tents made out of goat hair. You can also get some rest under the shade of century old pine trees, and see the wishing rocks and various rock formations.
