Ramazan Pasha Mosque
It’s in downtown Aydın, in Ramazan Paşa Neighborhood. Üveys Pasha’s brother Ramazan Pasha had it built in 1595. The dome’s surface was divided into sixteen parts using radial symmetry. The ornaments which include plaster reliefs, colored glasswork, and xylography are quite striking. Because the mosque partly burned down, and during the earthquake in 1899 it completely collapsed Hacı Halim Pasha of Söke had it rebuilt in 1901.
