Route Details

You can start your route by visiting Kuva-yi Milliye Museum located in Çine District’s centre. After touring the district, you can taste the famous meatballs of the district at road side restaurants. If you take the main road to the South of the district centre, you will reach Yağcılar village where you can visit Çine Apiculture Museum which is the first and only apiculture museum in Turkey. If you keep going South, you will pass through Kuruköy and Alabayır villages, and reach Gerga Ancient City where you can visit the mysterious temple of Gerga and ruins of the city. Here, you can also enjoy the view of Çine Creek and the dam lake.
