Route Details

When you’re in Söke, you can visit the old Turkish and Greek neighborhoods, and the historical houses of the district. You can visit Fatma-Suat Orhon Museum, which is an art house, as well as Uzbek Konağı (Mansion) Museum. You can tour the streets, and taste meatballs and pide(flat bread with ground meat) at local restaurants. When you go 37 km south of Söke, you'll come across an ancient period port city, Miletus, as well as Miletus Museum, both of which are open to visitation. From Miletus Ancient City, a 23 km travel through gorgeous scenery will take you to Serçin.

Serçin is a tourism centre which is also a part of Aydın Metropolitan Municipality’s ecotourism projects. Here, you can taste and buy fish such as eel that migrate from the Sargasso Sea, as well as sea bass and gray mullet. You can observe many species of birds that come to Lake Bafa.
